I am so happy that you feel better about your husband! You can be

certain he does love you, he is just conflicted himself. He doesn't

know if the implants are making you sick, he doesn't know how the

operation will go, and he doesn't know how you will look afterward.

Many men tend to think women are overemotional and read too much

into things. They are especially more likely to believe doctors

when they are told something and less likely to question them and

challenge them. So it is harder for him to believe that implants

are making you sick, when the media and the plastic surgeons say

they are safe. Have you ever had the feeling that when your husband

goes to the doctor for a problem, you have to go with him or you

won't find out anything? Most of my friends can relate to that. If

my husband goes alone, he won't communicate well and he will blindly

accept whatever the doctor says. He won't bother to probe for

answers and he probably won't even tell the doctor his whole

problem.

My husband went to cleveland with me (we live in illinois) and was

there every step of the way. But I can't tell you if he really in

his heart believed the implants were making me sick. I am sure he

had his reservations about all of it, but I was determined to go and

he knew it. I am sure your hubby will be so happy to have you

feeling well again and then he will be convinced of the rightness of

your surgery! Hang in there---not much longer to go now!

Hugs
