I think loosing breast tissue is pretty much an

indivicual thing. . . For me, I became engorged with

milk, and when the milk left, so did the breast

tissue! Some women find they have more breast tissue

after a pregnacy than before. Some return to their

former size/shape.

I would ask you doctor about when it's safe for you to

have another child. . . If you had bacteria in your

implants, and had multiple symptoms, I would consider

waiting until you've felt like yourself for at least

six months. It would be the same way if you had any

other serious illness. You would want to be sure you

are completely healthy before embarking on a pregnacy.

.. . both for your health, and the health of your baby.

I'm sorry, I can't remember everybody's history

straight!

was terribly sick and really dedicated herself

to getting her health back before getting pregnant. I

think she's planning to have her breast milk tested

before nursing. To me, this seems like a very good

option. Nursing, if possible is wonderful for both the

baby and the mother.

s's ob-gyn doc told her that about 1/3 of the

prospective mothers he's seeing have implants! . . .

I'm sure he'll be interested in seeing how does

also! It seems like a simple precaution that could

mean a great deal to a child's health.

Hugs,

Rogene

Don't worry about how much breast tissue you will be gone. I was a

full " C " all of my life, until I had kids. (3!) Then I was an " A "

but empty. I would stuff the skin in my bra to fill the " A " cup. I

called myself the cover girl for National Geographic! Nipples were

down South! I was crazy enough to get the implants to have the

fullnes. I only had them in for 9 mo. and was just explanted on the

3rd of March. I LOVE my little boobs. I had a lift when I had the

implants (full anchor!) and the lift held. My nipples are right

where they are supposed to be. They are not full on top, but it

doesn't matter. To put some of these cute t's and tank tops on and

look at my little perky breasts is Awesome! To know that I am on my

way to being healthy is worth it. Don't focus on losing tissue,

focus of the joy of being a mom with energy and health! Just start

working out, eating right and loving your breasts. If you need a

lift to get them perky, do it! You'll love the way they look

because they are yours!

If you dont have an auto immnue disease, and many of your symtpoms have gotten better or went away, since explant-I'm sure you will be fine. However, remember, the immunity goes out of whack with preganacies and it hard on your body, so if you are still sick, you may be triggering more harm on the fragile body. If that is to be the case, I'd wait to get better. I only waited two years, to get pregnant again, as I had implants for almost 9 years and was very very ill. I have recovered through removal and detoxing and thought, Id better get on the bandwagon! I am in my 6th month and doing wonderfully! If you feel good and only had them a short time, go for it.

Also, I would get your breastmilk tested to be sure. And beforehand, metal tests via hair sampling may help you also to determine what toxic exposure you have been opened to.Thats what I did. From there, you can make adjustments and take some supps, to rid of that chemical. Knowing it will be better for you and your baby!

The scary thing is we dont know what affects implants have on the breast tissue and the body years even after removal. Do chemicals linger within breast tissue for years. or no? If after removal, are our breast milk considered safe? We dont even know what damage is casued to children of implanted women. There is just no studies on it. Becoming pregant, with thoughts of a new child, is also soposed to be a happy exciting time, not one riddled with fears. Thats why Rogenes new group for children of implanted women is so needed. Hi,

What a great posting. I was womdering did you have

saline implant for 9 years and were they textured?

Who was your explant doctor and what did you do to

detox?

I am asking because I had mine 11 years and was sick

for 2 years before removing them. I am slowly

recovering but it is not fast enough for me. I would

like another baby so I worry about this alot.

Thanks

that is wonderful news that your in your 6th month already and things are going so good for you. I wonder if you are planning to have your milk tested and what exactly you would look for?My son suffers greatly from my mistakes so I hope that other with implants not risk it and not bother breast feeding if they had silicone implants.

I do not know enough about saline to say what that does to you.

Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad that you like your breast now, but I am wondering why you got a Full anchor lift? Was this what you wanted? I know a lot of women are not happy with thiers. There are some pictures on this site that showed the anchor scar and it scared me.

I had the vertical cut lift and am very pleased with the results.

My Dr. is a very good surgeon. Bradford Rockwell In Utah.

Happy for your outcome.

I think your smart not to breast feed once you have had implants, but that is coming from a mom of a child with health issues from my implants.

I can attest to the fact that breast feeding, and pregnancy alone for that matter, take a toll on most women's breasts. I have seen some women that ended up looking better after a baby, but not many.

I lost all my tissue with my first pregnancy so I had the implants put in and then ended up getting pregnant not long after and my son was nursed for a short time only but he has numerous psychological and physical problems.

I would wait for awhile as did.

Your smart for thinking this through.
