Thanks for sharing! Just yesterday, I was thinking, Well, maybe my

depression is just depression, and if I have enough psychotherapy,

then I can keep the implants. I had to keep from slapping myself.

Where did that thought come from? Then I, too, realized I was having

second thoughts, fear-based thoughts. I'll look fat when my breasts

are smaller. I'll be unattractive when my breasts are smaller. I

only had to think of the implants as foreign bodies to realize I

can't wait for the explant...J

Yes, I have been going through the same thing! What is hard is that my left breast actually looks fine, no problems. What has brought me to reality is looking at my right breast, which has the contracture, and seeing how distorted it looks. It is so painful. I remind myself that I should be looking inside myself to see what is beautiful, not the outside. What also helps is that I hopefully will never have to worry about my breasts again, at least not in the way I do now. I think it takes a very strong person to do what we are doing, and a lot of bravery as well. That which does not kill us makes us stronger.
