Guest guest
Dear Shyam Hello and as usual abelated happy new year.I Will clarify an important point. I was recently in pune in connection with taking possesion of my flat from the builder. My visit for few days turned into a three weeks stay due to bureaucratic hassles. That is when i was able to spend some quality time with amol and my chidhood friends. Most of them are rich and successful but permanently dissatisfied. I being a doctor was asked to suggest a workable solution as you also have asked. I failed. But the consensus was that it was in the attempt to stay connected that was leading to a harried kind of life. On my way back i stopped over at jabalpur to meeet my parents. Shared some ideas with them. ON reaching Back i had an email from From my friend sunil in pune. This was something i identified with and so i forwarded it to this site to see if others could offer something.  By the way , another way to feel stressed is to try and sell an electronic gadget. It is usually outdated and inability to dispose off will become another cause of stess. See the cycle? Take care Sanjeev. Subject: To,Sanjeev Kishore(84) To: mgims Date: Thursday, January 21, 2010, 11:22 PM  Thanx Sanjeev for a lovely wake up call..to shun all,Worldy Electronic goods and materialistic worldy pleasures..and come back to Human-Human contact, which was and which still is,the Goldmarker for Happiness Your story..reminds me of One similar interaction I had with a Hare Krishna devotee, way way back..in the early 1980's..when he told our class, during a school trip,..that he chose to join this sect, because. .he found, inspite of he,in his part of Western World, having experienced everything, material istic, which money could buy, " Simple Pleasures " , still eldued him..till he sought refuge in this sect!! But,on an ending note,Kishore. .I am not sure..after reading your tale,How do I go about disposing off, all my electronic paraphrenalia. ? Bcos, whoever comes to buy..I would be tempted to add.. " Khareed lo!..lekin.. is'se bhi Sukh nahi milega...!!. . " ,which I am sure..would put off many prospective buyers!! So,SanjeevKishore kindly advice..How do one go about,in this present era..,back to Good Old Times..holding all the Ipods..Netbooks, Laptops,Iphones. .etc etc..??
