Guest guest
Just a quick note that I have found that the act of creating something, whether it be a painting, a pot, a quilt, or a picture colored in a coloring book, helps with my stress levels. The act of creating, even things such as poems, stories, anything that requires that part of my brain, reduces the stress for me. " The " stress lately being some fear of the upcoming explant 3/30. So, my way of relieving stress is to create raku pottery. I'm getting better at it! My teacher says the flat tiles I'm creating, with, would you guess it, nude females, are very artistic and she says I have natural talent! The issues of the day come out in the art, like the women on tiles, or the misshapen bowl or pot from the potter's wheel. I just thought the idea that creating something in your life might also help you in reducing stress. J
