Hi Cheryl,

I was just hoping that you would take some time to think long and

hard about the decision to replace the implants. Have you read the

posts on this site. So many women are so sick with similar problems

it has to be caused from the implants. I am NOT saying that

implants are harmful to every single woman out there, as my Aunt has

had them in for 20 years now. So far she seems to be fine, normal

and healthy. I just want to point out the fact that you had them

removed for one reason or another and that puts you in the

statistics of women with problems from implants. Removal, capsular

problems, illness, etc. I am not sure what the statistics are

exactly for women who have not had one single problem with implants

or who have not had to have at least one other surgery to make them

just perfect, but I'll bet it is in the very low percentile. I had

mine removed because of hair loss. My family has NO signs of hair

loss and my parents and grandparents still have full heads of hair.

I have no other symptoms (thank you God) but if something is " all of

a sudden " wrong with my thyroid, it's from the implants!! Just

know that they might not be a health risk to us, but they definately

can't be good for us either! Now that you have them out and are

going through this, don't put your poor body through this again. My

vote is for you to accept your boobies the way God intended for us

to have them, whatever way that may be. Unfortunately we had to

learn the hard way. We are all here for each other, to support one

another with or with out perky breasts! So take the time, do some

investigation on the web of side-effects and see if you still want

to take that chance! Then you can't kick yourself later on.

Marie
