Guest guest
Congradulations ! I'm sure you'll be happy with the final results. You'll be " fluffing " for a few months after explant, so you should look really good! How long were you in surgery? . . . Did the doctor say he had to scrape the capsule out? Please drink plenty of water . . . silicone in the urine peaks at explant . . . so make plenty urine to flush as much as possible! Guest guest
Thank you! I was in surgery for two hours. He said the right implant was the hardest to remove because the capsule was on the underside of the breast. I guess usually the capsule is on the upper side, making it easy to remove with the implant. He did the left side first, which was a breeze, because the capsule wasn't nearly as thick. It look longer to remove the right. Unfortunately, he couldn't remove all of the capsule with the implant, so yes, he had to scrape the underside to remove the rest. I do have more liquid coming out of me on the right breast, which was harder to remove. I am drinking water like crazy. My body seems to know that I need it, so I am drinking around 4 32 ounce bottles a day, if not more. I am also sleeping a lot, though I think that may be from the medication. I was pleased that I liked the way they looked now, because I have heard they fluff, so if they look better later, it will just be the icing on the cake!
