Guest guest
It is indeed very shocking and sad news. May his soul rest in peace. He was a very gentle, non voilent and sobre person. Born and acclaimed painter, theme of most of his paintings were women. Every painting carried some message or short story. For last few years he was doing only " PHOONK-MAR painting, i.e. spreading the oil paint on water surface by blowing air from mouth. He held his painting exhibitions across the country. Twice he did it in New Delhi at India International Habitat Center. First time, many years back, he booked the open passage between the halls for his exhibition. Halls are too costly, he told us. Next time he booked a hall and there were many visitors , including a pretty Iranian doctor who seemed to be extremely impressed by the painter. Both gave sufficient time to understand each other and got married at Iranian Cultural center around one year back. Alas ! his life was so short lived. Shivkumar Pundkar - we will miss you !!
