Even if I said I was justifying my position could you ever really know that that was true? I could be lying. LOL ... I can never really know anything about anyone else, I can however know something about my THINKING if I care to look. So why not write down your painful thoughts about me and inquire and see if they are true. I have never found any evidence that anything was going on but a loving exchange of words. But hey, I could be wrong, why not inquire and find out what is true for you. Loving what is, angel, and that would be you. Neo
Guest guest
Neo You appear to be hallucinating. Since the sentence made no reference to you, I am curious as to why you applied it to yourself and then continued with your story. Yes we all have stories, but since ‘everything is a story’ explains everything it ultimately explains nothing. (God may be a similar idea, if you chose to use is as such) Comfort yes, but comfort I think often needs a lot of explaining and repeating and rarely seems to fulfill its promise. Just my story. steve Re: Mixing modalities (Steve) > Neo > > I am curious, Is it `mind' or `love' who is justifying it's > position? > Hi Steve, That anyone is justifying anything would just be another story, in my experience. Believing I am a body seems like a recurring hallucination I seem to be having And I have no idea why I wrote that story except to say that it seemed like a good idea at the time. As I understand it, all I need to do is to undo my unhappy stories and just live all the happy stories. A happy dream is all that the greater intelligence requires, from there it takes the last step and its all just God ... God ... God. Just some more ramblings from a hallucinating mind. Loving what is, Steve, and that would be you. Neo
Guest guest
Neo When you start to hallucinate that you are not your body, let me know. When you can do that and still hallucinate that you are your body and still have fun, I really want to know. Then you can choose whichever story you like and you can start to hold conferences to help others learn how to do it. And I want to be your manager, if that’s ok. Seriously, I think much of what you/me say is great, but for me I want a bit more flexibility, How can we play without being able to see things in at least a thousand different way. Why reduce things down to one formula when I can have a million ways to look at ‘reality’. How do I know what I want? I go inside, For me, I’m thinking of a process not necessarily a conclusion or a destination. Enquiry sounds a little bit like curiosity. In my experience it sort of has been reduced down to one thing: the Work. But I don't expect you or anyone else to agree with me. I like the fact that we all have different realizations and we can share them here. Someone posts their realizations, someone else asks is it true, and I get to go inside and find out what's true for me. Don't you just love the dynamics of this group. LOL ... Thanks for sharing your thoughts Loving what is, Steve, and that would be you. Neo
