Guest guest
I am lloking forward to the new year with anticipation. My goals this year are to expand 2 of my personal businesses and to get into shape once and for all. I plan on the latter to change my diet by reducing to almost zero the refined sugars that I so love and decrease the overall consumption of all calories. I am 5'11 and weigh a whoping 275, but can still sprint up and down stairs, although labored at some time. I plan to make my mainstay of exercise be rowing on a machine that I received for father's day but have yet to use. I have been interested in static contraction exercise for some time for strength development and stumbled upon information about the bullworker. I am about to buy one. Which model would be best? I am looking to be able to exercise my legs as well. Infact, I am looking for something that would let me exercise my legs without the strain of a squat, sort of like a leg press, without taking up the room. Any suggestions? By the way, I plan to document my struggles with size reduction ( I having given up trying to weigh a cetain amount). I will post this information if anyone is interested. Thanks! Guest guest
I suggest that you USE that rower and use it everyday. The BW can add strength and muscle mass but your issues are far beyond its ability to transform your body. Something everyday is in order. And cut your food intake today! Best of luck. > > I am lloking forward to the new year with anticipation. My goals this > year are to expand 2 of my personal businesses and to get into shape > once and for all. Guest guest
Good luck with your plans. I look forward to seeing your results. I, too will be posting my results. I want to lose 35 pounds in 2007 and at the same time increase strength. I have enough exercise equipment to do the job. Of course, the Bullworker is and will always be my favorite. Guest guest
Hi and good luck with the weight loss. Here's a few things that helped me. Eat only or as much organic food and or minimally processed foods as possible. Learn to drink water at all your meals. I'm lucky to be a land surveyor which gives me the chance to walk in the woods between 2 to 6 miles a day. Stepping over fallen trees, across brooks and boulders etc is great exercise. Lastly I bought the Bullworker x5 1 1/2 months ago and have seen and felt definate improvements already. It's a great product. > > I am lloking forward to the new year with anticipation. Guest guest
If you are saying that organic wheat vs. " normal wheat " has less refined sugar or fewer nutrients, I believe you are incorrect. It MAY or MAY NOT taste better. To my knowledge, there are no " growth hormones " in organic wheat. I was talking weight loss, not pesticide issues. PS-the spinich that made all those folks sick last month was " organic. " > > > > > > I am lloking forward to the new year with anticipation. Guest guest
Pesticides can be a real issue because they mimic female hormones (xeno estrogens). These can cause you to gain fat, reduce muscle and generally turn you into a girly-man. So, assuming organic produce have less or no pesticides, that is a good, but expensive benefit.
