Guest guest
Annie, I hope you don't think I was attacking you . . . because that's the impression you left me with. We always recommend that people exercise . . . but that's not always possible. It's good that you're finding the answers you need in exercise. However, if I remember, you've only recently been explanted, weren't you? . . . Only time will tell how well you do with nutrition and exercise as your core program. I sincerely hope you do really well. Some of us need more than just exercise. If you were to see Patty, you would know what detoxing has done for her. . . When she's with her 23 year old son, they mistake her for his girlfriend! . . . Not a line, not a wrinkle. She's a beautiful person, inside and out. I do have friends who exercise to, what I consider, extremes . . . Unfortunately, that hasn't kept her from bypass surgery, plus additional surgery to repair damage caused by the surgery. . . She's still having breathing problems. Her husband has his own set of problems. Even then, they go on biking trips where they bike for 25-30 miles per day. Same with hiking! Exercise doesn't do it all! Looking back when I first became involved in the implant issue, the women who I met, at that time, who scorned all alternative health measures are sicker now than ever, never having recovered to the point that life became good again. On the other hand, those of us who took the plunge are living normal lives. There was one member of this group who left to form her own group because she was opposed to using alternative health measures. Maybe you would be happier in their group . . . Breast Implant Facts. It sounds like you and would be soul mates. Hugs, Rogene

Guest guest
Dawn, There are trouble-makers who periodically come to this site and try to create problems, sorry you got caught up in it. The truth is that they do not know the truth, and create whatever truth works for them at the moment. Lynda At 12:13 PM 3/14/2005, you wrote: >Lynda.. >Are you talking to me.. Dawn or Ruthie. Dah. Guest guest
Rogene, I wanted to add my experince on this. I exercised everyday for years, and it wasnt until I stopped and reverted to plain simple walking and rebounding, that I started to lose weight and get better. Mercolas office specifically told me to stop for a while ,and let the bodfy have reserved energy stores for healing, not using up all my energy on strenous workouts. I have gotten better and finally saw the weight starting to melt off, doing less. I think it was aggravating too much cortisol and hampering me from getting well. ALso, if it hurts, dont so it. We are sick and to push harder, is only non sense. Guest guest
I don't do anything my body can't handle. I have been walking everyday for the last week and feel wonderful! I am starting out slow but enjoy it a lot. I hope that I won't ever have to stop getting my exercise. I feel it is helping me to feel better. Guest guest
Annie, Yes, I am aware that Dr. Kolb is not the answer. My question for her was if she had ever heard of anyone with only one symptom, hair loss. I am trying to figure out if it was just my body reacting to a foreign object, allergic to the silicone or something. Or is it that the implants messed up my thyroid. The hair loss started after implants. My PS had it written in his notes, that's why he was so supportive...I think. Believe me, I do not want to take medication!!! That is what I am trying so hard to avoid. If I knew it would stop falling out soon, I wouldn't do anything! It has been two weeks since explant and so far no change. I know to give it time, but how much! I just don't want to wait too long as my hair is already so thin. Marie RE: dawn: MD who wrote> that book> > > Dawn,> > Dr. Kolb is a lady . . .
