Guest guest
My son , age 9, loves to write down 800 numbers when he watches Nick at Night or the Cartoon Network. Then he bugs us to buy him the great " thing " he has seen on TV. Sometimes he insists that the item is " free " and we should just call the number. Well it turns out the " free " item comes with a paid subscription to Sports Illustrated! Another example is the sneakers with the wheels that pop out and turn your shoes into a type of roller blade. sees the price of ONLY $19.95 and MUST have these shoes. He seems to miss the part about three easy payments of ONLY $19.95! We try to explain that nothing is for free and that you have to buy something to get the " free " thing. Does anyone else have this trouble? I am glad this is only a small problem, and I guess it is not really a problem. Just one of those things, I guess. There has been a lot of talk about puberty, thank heavens we don't have a problem with this, knock on wood. does take great pleasure in putting his hand under his arm pit and making that oh so wonderful gas passing noise! He has just picked up this habit and he is REALLY GOOD at making that noise. He does not care where he is either, he will start flapping! WalMart, the water park, any place is just as good as the other! I am thinking about making him tuck his shirt in his pants so it would be tougher for him to hand under his shirt. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It is So hot here in Arkansas. It is supposed to be 98 today, with a heat index of 105 or so. Figures, our first summer here and record breaking heat! Just like when we moved to Bloomington, Illinois, our first winter, record breaking snowfall! AUGH!
