I will be keeping you in my prayers. I had mine in only 6 months &

was very sick, I've had mine out now for almost 7 months & I'm

slowly but surely getting back my once perfect health.

Are you getting the capsules removed? I left mine in because they

were transparent & very thin, but I would've removed them if I had

the implants in longer.

Dear Marie,

Wishing you the best for Thursday! You will be in my in my prayers. I just had my explant 12 days ago so I know what you are going through. I also have 3 young children. I know you must be nervous, I felt the same way( I was a nervous wreck) It is funny though the day of the surgery I had a strange calmness, I think because I just knew I was doing the right thing for my body and my health even if no one else believed me. It all goes by very fast and just know that you won't feel anywhere near as bad as you did after implant surgery. I had no swelling, bruising, and not even pain, just a little discomfort. You are doing the right thing and I give you so much credit for realizing and acting on your instinct about your implants. You are a very smart woman! I only had my implants for 18 months but knew from the beginning that they were causing me problems. I made the mistake of listening to my Dr and other people

around me who told me" no way they could be causing your problems." I wish I had trusted my gut and had them out sooner. So good for you, Marie. Try to stay calm and focused and just know that you are doing the right thing .

Hi ...thank you so much for the inspirational email. I am so happy for your explantation. Congratulations! Sounds like so far so good with recovery. I wish we didn't have to have the drains though. It sounds so gross. Is it as awful as it sounds? The PS told me that they would probably fall out after a week or so. Yours sound like it took almost two. I am glad to hear that it doesn't hurt as bad as the first time around. That's something to look forward to. Have you been able to pick up your youngest little one yet? I don't like that part. My baby is only 20 mo. and I always hold him. I just figure it's only for a short time. I think you are as lucky as I am considering you only had them for 18 mo. That's not a very long time considering some of the horror stories I have heard from years and years of implants. What symptoms were you having that made you make this decision? How did you get to where you are now? I will keep you in my prayers for healing and good recovery as well. Can't wait to be where you are right now!

We will be praying and thinking of you on thursday. I am sure you

will do just fine. And I wholeheartedly agree that you will not

regret having them out. Having them out, as you already said, is

your best chance at getting well! And there are many things you can

do to improve your health after explant also! Relax, trust God, and

be sure to let us know if you have any other questions or concerns

before your surgery.

I just wanted to say that the drains aren't that bad really. I only

had my in three days before I got them out. They are definitely

necessary even if they are a little gross to look at! Also, I my

explant was a real breeze and I had my implants for eleven years. I

never felt bad at all and recovered very quickly! I will be saying

a prayer that you will too!

Marie,

you are soooooooooo WISE, you will never regret this. You'll look

back as many women have and said I wish I got them out at the first

signs of illness. What grand news. You can keep following with us

and see many will come along and wish they had there's out sooner.

It does sound like you are having an autoimmune reaction to them, but

all should clear up once they are out. You will be so much ahead of

others who have had implant problems because you would not have been

as exposed. Blessings to you and your family, I'm pretty sure you

will be one of the girls who will have an amazing recovery and be

here and gone quickly. God Bless, and always remember the chance He

gave you. K.

Hi ...thanks for the message. I am so thrilled and am not looking back! The only thing is that my children have been sick with extreme stomach flu and this morning I woke up and am feeling sick to my stomach myself. I might have to postpone my surgery tomorrow. I am so disappointed! I'll keep in touch.
