Guest guest
Dear Lea, I am not surprised you dont want to use the sauna, I hate basements and get really nervous if I am closed in.My sauna has a window and I make my hubby stands outside and talks to me when I am in it. I really hope I am doing the right thing in using it as I have not had many hospital tests, my dr doesnt believe me you see so its difficult to get the tests done. I thought that it was`safe to use the infra red sauna with ms I have read that it helps but I dont know.I have read many times that women have been told they have ms with this silicone thing, only for them to get better, are you doing any dettoxing or anything? I hope it turns out that you havent got MS, sometimes I think I have MS When I wake in the morning my hands are dead, or my complete arm, things have got worse lately as my leg also goes dead, the funny thing is my left side is affected too. Hope you are ok Lea and Monday goes well. Love Sue
Guest guest
I have been told that I have MS. In fact, my last MRI showed 2 lesions. However, I just got off the phone with Dr. Blais and there are about 100 reasons why I might have the symptoms I am having...pain in my left leg, weakness in that leg...he thinks my original expanders deposited an infection in my system. I am using a sauna and a steam bath without any bad effects. My concern when I take a hot bath is that I do not seem to sweat enough or at all...may be a symptom of heavy metal toxins. Guest guest
Jeanne, Assuming you have insurance coverage, they will pay for testing for heavy metals.. .However, that's usually a blood test. .. According to the naturopath I saw, a blood test actually shows what's circulating in your system, not what's tucked away in the tissues. Some tests use hair samples. . . . Ask your doctor. And, if all else fails, I'll bet someone here knows where you can get a test done by mail. Hugs, Rogene
