Guest guest
Just a quick note to say thanks for all the feedback and support. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for depression; I shared with her about the upcoming explant. I was expecting her to say something negative. Instead she said, " It seems to me that you are doing good things for yourself. " Guess that's as close as she could get without being accountable or liable. Then she referred me to a psychologist, saying I needed to talk more....He said, " Well, I believe the research has been conclusive concerning the health implications of implants " ...or something like that...again, supportive but not accountable or sueable. Anyway, just really jazzed that 2 professionals supported my decision and reality!! Depression often brings distortions of thinking. The psychologist also said that sometimes our perceptions are actually reality! I laughed out loud, and said, Yeh, isn't that surprising?! I'm encouraged....23 days til explant...J
