Guest guest
Hi Beth, I've had four thyroid nodules for years now. . . They don't appear to be growing since I've had my implants removed. In fact, my thyroid function returned to normal. Something my doctor still shakes her head about! The only concern is that they are not cancerous. They can do a fine needle biopsy to determine that. In my case it showed " normal goiter " tissue. . . However, " normal " that is! Hugs, Rogene --- bethlakey <bethlakey@...> wrote: > > Hey , > I have a nodule on my thyroid as well. Guest guest
Hey , I don't know if I have thyroid issues or not. I know that I have trouble gaining weight, and I have ridges on my nails, if that means anything. The nodule showed up during a brain MRI, and my doctor at the time was fairly surprised. She ran some thyroid tests, which were normal and told me not to worry about it. Should I just let it go or see a thyroid specialist? hugs, Beth >
Guest guest
If you feel fine, and tests were fine ,then leave it be. Unless at some later point, issues begin to arise, then get retested. You should now be on alert for thyroid symptoms, whether 10 years from now, or hopefully never!
