Guest guest
I wondered if anyone out there has tried a portable far infrared sauna. I just bought one, tried it last night for the first time...I think I am supposed to be sweating to get the full health benefits...I did not...what do you think I might be doing wrong? Guest guest
Jeanne, If you'll warm up a bit by exercising, or taking a hot shower, you may start sweating more. Did you let the sauna warm before getting in? If I get in while it's still cool, I'll wear my clothing and peel it off as I start warming . . . I also add 10-15 minutes to the time when I do that. You will benefit from the infrared light even if you don't sweat. But you should be sweating . . . be sure you're drinking plenty of water before, during and after using the sauna. Also, when you are sweating regularly, take additional water soluable vitamins. . .. The fat soluable are A, D, E and K . . . the rest are water soluable. When you get your body to a healthier state, you should sweat easily. I noticed when I was taking the homeopathic products to balance my body's alkalinity, that I sweated the most! . . . the hand towel I used for a mop was saturated after a 30 minute session. This hasn't happened before, or since taking those products. The products were for my liver, kidneys and colon. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Jeanne, If you are not sweating that means you are more toxic and need it even more. Drink two glasses of water before going in and lie down for ten or fifteen minutes afterwards for full benefit. I found that it gave me a little burst of energy and helps me sleep. That's huge! Guest guest
Was it expensive? I can not seem to picture what a porable sauna would look like. Did you buy it brand new? Hope you feel better. Guest guest
Hi again, Tamra, I wanted to add that if you have regular access to this sauna, you would start slowly (5-10 minutes) and gradually increase the time you spend in it. Take it very slowly and only increase the time if you are able to tolerate it. It's also good to have some of Bee's electrolyte drink if you go in. But remember that using a sauna is not the most important element to your success in healing. Bee's diet and supplements are since they are what will increase your immune system. Take care, > > Hi Tamra, > > It's not dangerous to use a sauna, but because it increases your circulation and perspiration levels, it can cause added die-off to occur. Guest guest
Thanks , I will limit my sauna time. Yesterday I spent 30 minutes and got dizzy, so I feel that was too much. Next time I'll start at 10. Tamra > > Hi Tamra, > > It's not dangerous to use a sauna, but because it increases your circulation and perspiration levels, it can cause added die-off to occur. Guest guest
Thanks again . I brought 2 servings of the electrolyte drink with me in a metal thermos. Do you think that was enough? Then I drank plain filtered water when I got home. I'm still sticking to Bee's diet and recently am having slightly better digestion, although still having very soft stools.
