Guest guest
Jeanne, I found that it gave me energy and has helped me with sleeping problems. On Mercola's website he says you should drink at least two glasses of mineralized water before the sauna and then lie down for ten or fifteen minutes afterwards. Good luck. I love the sauna. It's a great detox. Anita far infrared sauna I have purchased a portable far infrared sauna. I was wondering if anyone had taken a far infrared sauna. What were your impressions? Did it seem to help ease some aches and pains which seem to go hand in hand with the implant/explant territory. Guest guest
Hi Jeanne, , Patty and I all use far infrared saunas . . . We were using them before we knew the others had one! I swear by my sauna . . . I had a massage yesterday and was very sore where the therapist worked my knees over (I asked her to because they had been sore recently). I used my sauna before bedtime last night . .. . today? No pain! My daughter is an occupational therapist. They use infrared therapy on their Alzheimer's patients with outstand success! . . . Would you believe that Medicare has quit paying for infrared treatment of diabetic wounds, even though the therapy is very successful? It has also been proven to help peripherial neuropathy after just one treatment! Nothing else helps! I'm sure you'll enjoy your sauna. Far infrared has many health benefits! . . . My problem is forgetting to use it when I'm feeling well! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
- Jeanne Hi. I own a far infrared sauna. I really like it. It feels good. I am not sure if it has helped all that much with aches, but it really helps you detoxify. I think you need to use it consistently and I haven't. I get headaches easily and then I don't want to do it. But I certainly intend to use it more regularly soon. Kathy -- In , Gmmjfa@a... wrote: > I have purchased a portable far infrared sauna. Guest guest
Jeanne, I can only suggest the one I've had experience with, which is the Healthmate. It is easy to assemble and disassemble, it has amenities that you can choose (such as a radio/cd player to pipe in music to listen to), it is comfortable (just make sure to buy one big enough for comfortable seating if you want to have extra room.), and does not jack up your electric bill. I have been totally satisfied with mine. What are you considering? Patty > > I am going to buy myself a far infrared sauna for Xmas. Guest guest
Jeanne, I have the same sauna as Patty - I really enjoy it! Even my hubby (who wouldn't do anything for health's sake) enjoys it. One advantage of the Healthmate is that the lighting units have a life-time warranty. We have ours in a covered porch where rain doesn't get to the top of it. They have covers for outdoor use. However, they don't generate much heat, so using them indoors isn't a problem. The heat you feel is internal. Do a websearch for " far infrared sauna " and read up on several brands. They have different ways of describing their benefits. If you can afford to get one, do so. They're not cheap - but over the long haul, they're not expensive either.
