Hey Tim, I think that more people need to hear that not all people have bad sides on Peg-Intron, we are not bragging, we are letting people know some of the positive. I also realize that even if I'm a non responder it has helped and like you said, there are alot of positive things happening as far as clinical trials. Have a great night and keep the positive attitude. Bill H.

Hey all,

It's good to hear some positive news. Hope you are all feeling better

on this lovely day. What is the difference between peg-intron and

rebetron combo? I am on the combo and am curious what is next, should

this treatment not work.

Hello Jim,

Welcome to the group. What brought you here? I don't believe I've read your story...

It is an interesting question you ask... My answer is no. I believe God has allowed certain tests to be placed before me. He evidently wants me to learn from these challenges.

I also believe that all that which is good comes from God. That which is not good does not come from God. The real question is this... in my times of challenge, will it draw me closer to him, or will I run away?

It may appear as if I am running away... but I am not. If I did not have him to turn to in my darkest hours, I would surely not know what to do...

I hope that answers your question. If we can provide specific answers for your own questions, please ask away... there are many good people here.

Hi jim, you must be new to the group, welcome!!!

Dawn is a wonderful person, yes bad things have been

happening to her, but " bad things happen to good

people " and because of the kind of person that dawn

is God will use her for his works, other people are

going to learn from what dawn goes through,

thats why bad things happen to good people, so they

can help someone else....

Dear Ladies -I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did.Regards,Subject: Fw: Luck--------------------------------------------------------------------------------To my friends.......His name was Fleming, and he was a poor ish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the

boy Farmer Fleming had saved. "I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life." "No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the ish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel. "Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly. "I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of." And that he did. Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. 's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin. Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What

saved his life this time? Penicillin. The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill. Someone once said: What goes around comes around. 4 pm today is my son's final appointment with that therapist for termination. Wish me luck, I have to tell him that my son will not be seeing him after this and I need to MAKE sure that he does not say anything to the contrary to my son!

Thanks for the luck everyone, it went smoothly.

I went in first and explained to him that my son was aware that this was the last visit and that he would not be seeing him after that day. He seemed to accept this. At the end of the session he pulled me aside to tell me that the reason for his concern was that "AS is such a heavy label to put on a child" huh? Ok, whatever.

On a sweet note, because my son is a worrier and can be very empathetic (or worried) about people he knows well, he expressed concern that his changing therapists may hurt the old therapists feelings.
