Guest guest Posted November 11, 2006 Report Share Posted November 11, 2006 I was very concerned when I lived in my moldy apartment building because one neighbor who as far as I know just had some form of hepatitis (although he easily might have also been HIV positive, I think his roomate was.. ) He was a big strapping guy years ago, when I moved in, but more recently, he was literally falling apart in front of my eyes..he was getting sicker and sicker.. His weren't the only health problems there besides mine.. the person who lived next door to him for a while had diabetes, and diabetic neuropathy.. perhaps worse than that.. (he was afraid his hands and feet would need to be amputated..) This other guy was also an alcoholic, and was visibly a very sick guy, he literally passed out in front of me on the street once, and hit hs head.. ambulance came... Both insisted that their symptoms were not from mold.. but this was a building with bad stachybotrys, bad aspergillius, occasional raw sewage flooding into basement.. from below..
