I am new and seeking advice / information

Hi everyone,

My name is Jan and I have hepatitis c. I am not sure how long I have had it but probably about 25-30 years. I am 55 years old. I was diagnosed in 2001 while my daughter was undergoing chemotherapy for recurrent brain cancer. I am genotype 2 b, grade 1-2 inflamation and stage 1 - fibrosis. I have many disabling symptoms but I was told by the hepatologist that I saw about one year ago, that I should wait about five years to undergo treatment due to the harsh and toxic options available today. I am suffering now, and I have a terminally ill, adult daughter and three grandchildren that need me. I am seeking advice from anyone willing to give it.

I am fairly new to computing but I would also like to join the chat this evening. Can anyone tell me how?
