Guest guest
Anyone grow stevia? I have gotten really " hooked " on it for hot chocolate in the wintertime (and even during this cool, wet spring). One summer I bought a plant at the farmer's market and managed to kill it within about a week (a new record for me). I thought I must have been really busy at that time and just didn't pay enough attention to it. Well, even though I bought some seeds at the co-op, intending to start my own, I recently had an opportunity to buy another plant and decided to splurge on it. I had it in my garden window and hadn't watered it in 2 days when I noticed that it was all shriveled up like it was on it's last leg. I did manage to revive it, but am wondering if this is a really delicate plant that just isn't going to thrive on the neglect that my other plants put up with. Any suggestions? Should I repot it with some peat or something that will hold moisture better? And does anyone know how to use it fresh? Kathy
