Guest guest
, Cross contaminating with mycotoxins can be your problem but from apt hunting for a temporary place to live, I'd say it could also be that you are going to another moldy place even if less moldy than your own place. My experience is that most apartments and hotels and motels are moldy. Not too moldy for health people but too moldy for unhealthy people. Look for a new apt complex where air conditioner has never been used. Air conditioners are frequently the culprit in otherwise well maintained homes, or look for place with all hard flooring so it can be cleaned better than carpeted home AND window a/c unit that you can remove out of window so at least the moldy thing isn't in your apartment. If you are there next summer, get a new a/c unit and clean it frequently, make sure it is draining well and not holding water inside of it which makes a breeding ground for mold. If you have less mold, you will have less toxins. THEN leave everything in your old home behind.
