The Walk made me feel like I'm not 18 years old anymore. Thank God. I had an interesting time surviving my twenties, so I've committed to making my 50s good. I had a shot of motivation this morning and cleaned out about half of our garage. I must have looked like a fussy, old Mr. ("Leave it to Beaver"). It was progress stopping half way through instead of wearing myself out totally. Anyway I went through some old scrap books and crap I wonder why I saved anyway and it gave me a moment to reflect. There was a collection of stuff that has been passed along in my family, for what ever reason, and more recent stuff from my daughters childhood. I wondere ten or twenty years from now when someone else is going through this stuff what will they find that is interesting to them? I fuss and complain about things today that really don't matter.

As I read your note about your present and recent history, I again got the appreciation there just aren't any real big deals in my life today. I can choose to whine about getting old and out of shape or I can get on with putting more memories in the old scrap book.

I deeply appreciate your openness with this old fat fart. Mike
