Guest guest
This is a hard question for me to ask. IF it turns out I need to sell my house and move, can I take my baby grand piano with me? It was a gift from my parents 40 years ago. This one is tough. I was a music teacher. True, I never play it but....... felice

Guest guest
When you move, put it in the garage for 5 years- then you can have it back- befor you move it- clean it as well as you can inside and out-but outside of the moldy house- but remember that anything you store in the garage cannot come into the new house for 5 years- keep a de-humidifyer going to keep the garage dry-- - In , felice <anupath14@...> wrote: > > This is a hard question for me to ask. > IF it turns out I need to sell my house and move, can I take my baby grand piano with me? Guest guest
i too would store it and try to save it if it doesn't have mold growth in the wood. check close with a magnifing glass. if you don't also have very high humidity in the home it may just have dry mold dust on it. hope you kept the lid closed but you would still need to shop vac out the dust and try to clean it inside. could be hard to get all the dust out. be carefull not to get any cracks wet and try to clean them as well as you can. mycotoxins could be another story alltogether, if you have some buildup you might try dawn dish washing liquid in your water and disposable rags. you can probably get the outside clean but i dont know about the inside. if you can store it for a while until you get to felling better it might help. good luck. > > > > This is a hard question for me to ask. > > IF it turns out I need to sell my house and move, can I take my baby > grand piano with me?
