Guest guest
As someone who gives her kids raw milk, I am much more worried about whatever germ factory they may enter whenever using a public restroom. OF COURSE raw milk has bacteria. My understanding is that farmers test and ensure the count isn't above a certain amount that would be unsafe. BTW, should we be recommending to moms that they 'pump and boil' with mastitis? I am assuming it is the same bacterial cause in humans, and I have never seen any information that it is unsafe -- because it isn't. Sorry for the rant, I just wish there had been a way to post it as a response to the blog. I hope anyone looking into whether or not raw milk is right for them will read other viewpoints! > > http://junkfoodscience.blogspot.com/2009/01/raw-milk-debate-helping- > parents-wade.html >
Guest guest
I noticed today that organic valley carries an ultra-pasteruized...not sure how long they have been doing that but I remember someone on this board predicting that to happen because of the listeria outbreak last year... Guest guest
They have been ultrapasteurizing their cream for several years which is why I don't ever buy it.
