Son of Dr Karad dies tragically

The only surviving son of Dr. Rukmini (Gir) and Dr. Karad died in a tragic

road accident in Pune yesterday.

Dr. Rukmini Gir of the 72 batch and daughter of Mr Gir, who was on the

managing committee of KHS, had married Dr. Karad from the 73 batch. They

were Ophthalmologists at Nashik.

They had two sons and one daughter. The first son was unfortunately plagued

by some genetic disorder and died early. The second son , who was 21 years

old, had a brilliant academic career and was in his final year engineering

in a Pune college.

A late night party at Pune outskirts and a speeding motorcycle are a deadly

combination. Not only the son of Rukmini, but his friend, who was also an

only child of his parents, died instantaneously. The dead body has been

shifted to Nashik.

I was a patent of Dr. rukmini when I was 15 years old. that time for only money she operated my eyes and now my eye is almost blind. 

But felt very sad to here after this news.
