Metformin is often prescribed to treat infertility in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a common hormone disorder that disrupts the reproductive cycle. Researchers conducted a review of previous studies and found that patients with PCOS or diabetes who were taking metformin had a lower percentage of fetal malformations than those who were not taking the medication. Researchers stress that the findings are preliminary and that further studies are needed. I am going into menopause now and noticing less severe and less frequent EN bouts. It would sure be nice to not have to wait for menopause to go into permanent EN remission.Have any other members used metformin and noticed their EN go into remission?I'm going to make a permanent file of your post as this is too important to lose in the shuffle.
