Guest guest
Hi all! I am writing after a long time, I know. But, I am completely aware of what is going on here... from all discussions, to suggestions...to some " rooth jana " , travel advice etc etc. The reason I am addressing Ophthalmologists is that my father has cataract (both eyes). I am convincing him to get intraocular lens but he is little afraid of it (just as old people find it difficult to adjust to new technologies). He is worried because of the price of Intraocular lenses. He has been told that price of Intraocular lenses varies from Rs 800 to Rs 20,000 (this is quite possible that he may have forgotten the figures). He is surprised as to how the range is so big. It has been left to him to decide. He asked me and I do not know anything about it. I promised him that I will inform you the best. I depended on our group. My father is about to celebrate his 85th birth day, is lean and thin, very active, walks a lot, no hypertension/diabetes/arthritis/heart or any other problem. So, dear ophthalmologists, please inform me how many types of intraocular lenses are there and which will be best for him? Please contact me on , with Intraocular lens in the subject line. Thanks a lot in advance. Parvin K Ansari'
