8 pm last night, Sun, door bell rang. Of course it had to be nada.

Daughter knew it must be her. But i guess there was some doubt it

could have been dad. DEFINITELY I AM GOING TO GET ONE OF THOSE

PEEPHOLE SCOPES now where you don't even have to go up to the door to

see who is there. I have a peephole now and it does not work . The

way the hall to the door is, I can't just look out the window and then

get to the door very quickly.

Nada wanted to let me know that all the people who are involved with

the horse shows have called wondering what happened to Katrina and her

horse. She was placing in top place and now that she has not been

coming to shows she is in 7th place. Some supposedly anonymous person

offered that if she comes to the next show (this next weekend) they

will pay for all her entries, etc. etc. in the future. I am

thinking " how is that supposed to benefit me? That would actually

benefit nada! " Nada had paid all those fees and stuff; that's all I

need is someone else to do it for her ! I told nada I don't need

her going around telling people I am being mean, blah blah She said

" I am not " I said, " Why are you calling my friends after several

months? " She said, " I have a right to talk with them " I said,

" About what? They are my friends, so leave them out of it " She said

" I just wanted to know where Katrina is and what she is doing "

Then she adds " I hear how much you have told your friends - i mean

they know grandpa left and came back and everything! " She

mentioned about that idiot W____ lady (whose daughter is an ex-friend

of my daughter now) saying something about what I said in an email in

the past. I said, " I don't care what Mrs. W_____ says. She has

problems " Nada had such a taken aback look at that one. I don't

care if she goes and tells Mrs. W either, of course. I mean she does

have problems. Her daughter has relayed a little by that web site

that she is completely enmeshed in the anorexia/bulimia stuff big time

and that her parents call her fat when she eats and get mad at her

when she doesn't eat or is bulimic. Big hornet's nest I'd like to

stay away from, if you ask me. They are all so happy and normal

looking family on the outside. Just another nightmare family.

anway I told nada daughter could not do this horse show thing b/c that

would mean she would have to use nada's horse and go to nada's house

to practice it.

Oh, and nada said she does not call people and tell them I am mean.

To the horse show people who asked why daughter is not there any

longer, nada told them " B/c I am a bad grandparent " Then she said,

" See, I laid the blame on me, not you " Crickey! It's the same

cotton-pickin' thing! Her getting people to feel sorry for her b/c I

am mean enough to call her a bad grandparent after all she has done

for my daughter and the horses and crap. Now of course I feel

guilty just knowing there is this horse show and daughter won't get to

go and intellectually I know I should not feel guilty. Nada

invasion. I only feel guilty b/c daughter was ranking tops but now

is not. I guess we will survive it. I told nada maybe I would

consider in 6 months but she said it would be too late - the free

entrance fee offer would not be around by then. I am not so sure

this person is " anonymous " If they want my daughter to boost their

show now with showing herself, then I don't see why they would not do

it 6 months from now.

Meanwhile, my friend who curiously answered the phone when nada called

is going to start having some fun. She is going to tell nada i am

going to buy a horse for daughter and that I am looking at a house out

of state to buy. She just wants to come up with stories to tell nada

to throw her all off track. I said, " Ok, if that gives you a thrill "

She said she must be completely bored to answer nada's phone calls and

be on teh phone for 3 hours. I said , " Yes, you sure must be! "

Remind me just to wall up my door on my house. When I need to leave I

will just build a tower with an elevator and then push a button to

have one of those rollout slides to go down or something.
