Guest guest
Hi Lori, So glad to hear from you and I am so sorry you are in the middle of a physical mess. It makes me sad to hear of someone who is in that much pain. Have to tell you that my daughter lives in Van Nuys, but just put a bid in on a house in Coursegold. Her husband got transfered to Fresno. There are problems right now. The gentleman who put down the money on their house in Van Nuys gave the agent a bad check and booked to Russia. Seems his best friend died there and he was due home on Friday. Guess what...he didn't show up. So I have no idea what the heck and her husband and son are going to do. What rats people are. To to the whole thing off she has fybro also. I assume that is what you are fighting since you mentioned a flare. I know she is miserable when her body gives out. Keep in touch and maybe on one of my trips to Calif. we can meet. That would be really cool. Try and rest and get control of the pain. I hope you Doc. can give you something possitive. Take care, donna P.S. your so right, the only beach is the ocean.

Among other things I have had 2 failed back surgeries and I have arthritis... Lori in California
Guest guest
Lori, Oh boy, I know what that is like. I have not had surgery, the odds were poor that I would not be in a wheelchair. Not for me. I take my pills like a good little girl and say thank you that nobody ever aggressivly came at me with the need to operate. And the arthritis...lovely huh! I am trying to be some sort of funny. The arthritis is so bad in my lower back from the broken tailbone and stenosis and burst fracture I could do some damage to anyone who got in my way sometimes. My hands are another story. Hurt all the time. Take Bextra for them and it does help some, somedays. I was lucky, only one Dr. out of 16 wanted to operate. It would have been from the front, under my ribs and up my back. That didn't sound too good. The wanted to book the surgery before I even left the office. I told them. You will hear from me if and when I am ready. I never was. Hope this day finds your pain less. I don't say pain free cause that is never true. Your friend in Conn. donna
