Guest guest
Wishing u all a very Happy Holi. Thanx,Bharat for the lovely writeup, which instantly made me,travel down memory lanes. Holi,I guess, for each batch, had it's usual fare of charm,happiness...and loads of fun. Our batch's HOLI-MINDED boys would start the proceedings..as early as 6am,while some AVERSE to HOLI,would have their rooms locked from outside right from 12,the previous nite... The first year, they managed to fool us.. But,over the years..we all knew of their plans..and so,all of us..would first land,at their door, bang all the way, throw in buckets of water thru those airsieves, till they would hand us the keys to open their doors and get themselves drenched, over and over again.. The preholi, dance round the fire..would also be a special event... But,the best,we had seen, was the OUT OF THE WORLD,Holi-Dance,around the fire, performed by some classy 85batch freshers,in traditional Afro-Jungle style, opp the ICH,watched by Boys and the Girls, hostel eyes. Good old days. Your writing,Bharat, is very easy on the eyes as well as the mind..and it makes very interesting reading of all topics,U have written so far. So,on that note, could we have a photo of urs please uploaded in the Member's section,to be able to place U,as well.. We may not know all the 79 batch students, but some faces,we do remember still.
