Lots of wrong interpretations have been made after this discussion started.

Please consider the following to put an end to this conversation:

 

1 This discussion started when Dr Rakesh Khera wrote about righteouness of '

taking up a sword when all other ways to do away injustice have failed.' It was

in this context that I expressed my views that it would be correct...

 

2 Tried to explore the history of naxalism and why naxalites are honoured by a

section of Indian population. Part of my earlier mail which I think led some to

believe that I am an ardent supporter of naxaltes:

 

"  Naxalism in India is promoted on the same old priciples and ideology: that a

Naxalite is someone who loves his country more than an ordinary citizen and is

therefore more disturbed than the rest when he sees the atrocious nature of the

feudal caste and state system.He is disturbed by the parliamentary cretinism in

India more than any one of us can ever be...Thus, in their own eyes,

Naxalites are not bad citizens turning to crime; they are good Samaritans

fighting for justice and equality. Actually the idea that many people have about

a Naxalite being anti Indian who hates the country is naive. "

Good to see your views,Bharat. .

But,I guess,a very mildhearted softspoken BalwinderRana, the practising

Orthopaedician, of 87batch,as I have known him to be...,must have hurt his

sensiblities, to see so many innocent lose their lives..and the Govt just not

doing enough to secure the lives of the common people,but instead filling their

secret bank accounts.

I am sure..he too,must be wanting the middle path of dialogue as well,like all

educated class of today'e India.

And I hope,India's fractured political class joins hands..to ring in this

change,soon. .

The Indian political and the common class needs ur thoughts,the ability to turn

these thoughts..into actions..and aap ho ki bus..wahaan bayte ho...
