, have you mentioned this to your doctor? I was wondering if this

could possible be facial tics? Have you had a MRI done. Evan was checked

epilepsy when he was first dx'd.

Hi ,

My son also went through eye blinks. The doctor said they were ticks. One doctor even diagnosed him with Torrettes (I do not agree anymore). He would close his eyes hard and then open them or just blink. He hasn't done this in a while though so I think the tick was medication related. He was diagnosed with Aspergers (and ADHD, that was the original diagnosis so I don't know if he is still considered to be ADHD). He is on Pamalor and when we increased the meds, I saw the eye blinks. He is now on a much lower dose and I don't see it anymore. I do have to deal more odd with his behavior now, outbursts and a lot of defiance (which could be just age related, he is now 10, almost 11).

Is your son on any meds?

His eyes kind of twitch and is very repetitive. I'm fearing that

this is due to his disorder.

I feel so bad for him and I cry because he doesn't deserve to have

this disorder. He is only an innocent 6 years old boy. Why couldn't

God put this upon me instead of him.

Hi Debbie,

No, isn't on any meds. He was only diagnosed through the school district and the Regional center. He hasn't been diagnosed through the doctor. I need to take him, but don't know where to start. What type of doctors does your child see? I thought that the only way to help him was through educational intervention. I am afraid to put him on meds. How has the meds benefit your child? Your help or anyones help is appreciated.
