Guest guest
Our involvement with NewBody was in 2002 for the Fitness Bar and that was the extent of it. NewBody makes very high quality products. Most fitness products only need visual images for demonstration and NewBody is very good at demonstrating their products through images. The language should not be a real issue. I have all three of their products and am very impressed with them. The isokenetic movement of the exxerwatch was influential in developing Iso-Motion for the Steel-Bow. The exxerwatch is primarily a strap PULL device. We wanted to expand this with a combination of PUSH & PULL (Handle/Cable) for the movements. With dual resistance possible from the same motion, we felt we were optimizing the muscle development in a negative/positive contraction in an isokenetic type movement. The exception is the Us-Body Machine (called Fitness Bow in the US) which is sold on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/NewBody-FB101-Fitness-Bow/dp/B0001WY2LU/sr=1-1/qid=1162563831/ref=sr_1_1/104-8162622-6772726?ie=UTF8 & s=sporting-goods You can also try the google-translated version of Gert Koelbels website: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.newbody.de & langpair=de%7Cen & hl=en & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8 & prev=%2Flanguage_tools Whilst some of the translation comes out funny, you'll at least get a general idea. Sometimes these exercise devices pop up on ebay which is where I picked up my Exxerwatch for 29 Euros. On Gert Koelbel's website they are sold for 70 Euros. Since the Fitness Bow is sold by Bullworker (as per the Amazon website), maybe Highes can be of help? Hope this helps...Mike Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection. Try the free Yahoo! Guest guest
I am trying to find something to fit my injuries. I ama 35 year lawman and have been off 1 1/2 years with shoulder injuries and 9 surgeries. The regular size Bullworker is too long to acomodate the injuries, I see the steelbow28 and I like the looks of its size, the exeewatch seems to have merit as well. Any thoughts or guidance???matt wingo wrote: How do you find the devices you mention? Any idea of what their costs are? And it's also incredibly portable being notmuch bigger than an old-style mobile phone.I really liked the idea though of expanding the iso-kinetic workout into"pushing" exercises as well - hence I ordered the Steel Bow (along withthe Fitness Bow) from Amazon a couple of days ago. Can't wait for themto arrive. The other thing that attracted me to the Steel Bow are theinterchangeable springs, so my whole family can eventually use it.As someone has said here before, we don't NEED all these gadgets toperform isometric or isokinetic exercises, but they sure add variety andfun to doing these exercises and imho that's what it should be about:FUN.Kind regards...MikeMatt WingoTexas-home -cell-cell Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! I think it could be useful especially since the pull resistance is adjustable from 5 kg to 80 kg (or roughly 11 lb to 176 lb). You could also check out the manual I have uploaded to the files section for some exercise examples. Hope this helps...Mike
