Guest guest
I wen t to Dr. Cohen today - I ahd been to him before for small things and was going to see if I could possibly work with him on my thyroid issues; He said that I am on a "very high dose of thyroid meds" (t4 60 mcg compounded, armour 2.5 gr); and he freaked about the hydrocortisone - 7.25 mcg. He said I need to wear a b racelet to alert people that i am on hydrocortisone in case I am ever in a car accident. THat it could be very dangerous if I was in an accident, my adrenals could "crash"...taht really scared me! Has anyone ever told any of you this?? I think he is out...I ended up feeling kind of defensive....I went in for allergies/courgh issues...he prescribed some adrenal support for me to add to the hydrocortisone, but I would probably not feel comfortable working with him for these reasons. has anyone ever seen him??? Any comments? stephPlanning your summer road trip? Check out AOL Travel Guides.
