i have never been told that i couldn't go to nolan's classroom. i do have to

check in at the office first to get a name tag but i'm totally ok with that.

sometimes i stand in the hall and watch through the door - like during story

time and sometimes i go in and have a little fun - especially if it's parachute

time!

i can understand why certain times of day and with certain activities a visit

would cause a distraction. the teacher is afterall at work as are the students.

but there has to be some time during the day that would be ok.

i find it nothing more than building a wall between parents and school to deny

access to at least view.

i guess i'm very lucky that the teacher and paras in his current world are

some of the best. i hope that luck doesn't run out anytime soon.

Prominent notices shall be posted at each campus requiring all visitors to first

report to the campus administrative office. This shall apply to parents, Board

members, volunteers, social service workers, invited speakers, maintenance and

repair persons not employed by the District, vendors, representatives of the

news media, former students, and any other visitors.

Visits to individual classrooms during instructional time shall be permitted

only with the principal’s and teacher’s approval, and such visits shall not be

permitted if their duration or frequency interferes with the delivery of

instruction or disrupts the normal school environment.

It is actual a board policy.

Friendswood will not allow parent's to visit without permission from the

principal. I requested to visit and was told no as I would disrupt the

class.

It is very important to see who besides the teacher is working with them

including even PE

and music... why???

Cause they are their influence to our children future and who will give them

also pride and

honor and not humiliation and dishonor,

They are not there to dominate your child and we as parent's should be aware

of that.

A lot;s of the aids and teacher's and other's have also different religious

life styles and

belief's in which in many case they will implement with our children.

There are a lot's of bad mouthing and politics within school districts ,

school staff and

jealousy within even our teacher's in

our schools that we may not see but are an influence in what is going to be

next for

our children, I know that this is normal everywhere else but this are our

children and that

should not be a part of their childhood living experience specially when

they have auitsm

or other disability .

Why M I writing this?

Cause from my experience yesterday I learned that I need to watch my

children more

closely and frecuently and not to trust so much on other's.

I do not think that people are trying to harm our children but I do believe

their influences

can harm our children specially when this people are not trained properly

and district's

keep trying to hire non professionals for aids or staff....

to save funds to the SE department.

And this is already after we settle, with lawyers and have done everything

by the book.
