Guest guest
(4) How can I keep my energy positive when there's so much " crap " going on around me? This is a good one Openeyes...thank you for the thought...lots of crap floated around me last night and I couldn't sleep I would be happier and my energy would be kept up if I wasn't sucked into all the drama and crap about my son's school...I hear the story....and react... Teachers should always listen to their students and do the right thing. 1.Is it true? Absolutely ...they are not being responsible teachers and are not thoughtful...I wanted to scream last night when I heard what happened at school....And my son says I can't talk to her...my hands are tied! Answer the question with your heart M....is it true? I don't know if she's being responsible or not...maybe she is being thoughtful and fair...doing the best she can...maybe she did listen to her students...maybe this is good for them to experience in political science class....so no, I can't know 3. Oh, I'm angry and my mind goes to calling her up and telling her that she is not doing it right... Sorry for Grant and feeling like he is a victim of this uncaring woman. Defensive...I go to wanting to protect Grant and not seeing that he has it all handled this morning and knows just how to take good care of himself...he knows just what to say to the teacher today... I don't trust the world to be a safe place for my son. I feel seperate, anxious and worried. Thinking that I am the judge of the universe again...I know what is right an wrong...yikes...how can I know Feeling that this woman is on the other side of the battlefield from me and I am armored and ready for battle....listen to my son God damn it! (It's tough to be dictator when you're not God...) Shaking my fist and yelling at her... Can you see a reason to drop this thought M? (and don't try) Boy, that's tough...I see the stress but i want to be vigilant for my son....part of me thinks that is love.... 4. Who would you be M without the thought that this teacher should listen to her students and do the right thing... Hmmmm....I can't imagine.... I would really listen to Grant and really hear him before I fly into defense mode. I am availble to him and to the teacher to work this out... I feel softer and sweeter and lighter....my shoulders are relaxing and dropping...the weapons of mass destruction are gone.... TA for Teachers should always listen to their students and do the right thing. ............................. Teachers should not always listen to their students and do the right thing. Wow...yes, if that is what happening... ............................. I should always listen to my the teacher and students and do the right thing. 1. I haven't always listen to my teachers and done the right thing. I had a huge battle with my teacher in high school and learned so much from that experience...thank you Woody... 2. I don't always listen to Grant and just stay quiet and allow him to find his own answers before I react. 3.I haven't always listened to my teachers and really heard the truth of what they say....Fritz, , Sharon...they all offered insight and I didn't want to hear. ............................. My thinking should always listen to my heart before going off to war and do the right thing. love, nne

I´m a teacher and have faced several angry parents and it still makes me sad and angry when I think about it. This is my work: 1.I´m angry at all parents that put unreasonable demands on teachers. Is it true? Yes, I am angry and parents can certainly be unreasonable. Can I be absolutly sure that they are unreasonable? No, I can´t. From there point of view I can´t know what is reasonable and not. Who am I when I think this thought? Arrogant, angry, I don´t listen because I´m buissy defending my self. Who would I be without that thought? Calm, not affraid, understanding, maybe laugh at myself because I would remember that I`m also a parent and have acted the same. 2.Parents should understand that teachers are only human, do their best and make mistakes. Is it true? No, parents are also humans, they don´t always understand. Who am I when I think that thought? Unreasonable(!) and demanding, all the things I think of them. Hmm, I didn´t know that until now. Who would I be without that thought? Less stressed I think, definitly more openminded. The turnaround: I should understand that parents are only human, do their best and make mistakes. Yes, that thought feels good. I feel kind to myself as a parent as well as to other parents. I should understand that I`m only human, do my best and make mistakes. Yes, definitly. Parents shouldn´t understand teachers. Probably not. It´s not their job to understand me, it´s my job. This feels nice.Thank you nne for sharing and for giving me the opportunity to work on my problems! Forresfaerie

Isn't that what you want these parents to be? So: Parent's should be less demanding on teachers. I am angry at these parents. People should not have unreasonable demands of others. Turn them around. And can you really know it is anger you are feeling? > 2.Parents should understand that teachers are only human, do their > best and make mistakes. > Is it true? Guest guest
1.I´m angry at all parents that put unreasonable demands on teachers. Is it true? Yes, I am angry and parents can certainly be unreasonable. *Is it really true that you are angry because of their demands? Whose buisness are their demands? What do they have to do with your anger? What do they have to do with you?* No it isn't true Olli that I'm angry becuase of their demands, I was angry because of my thoughts about their demands, and I know this know since I made the work very clearly on myself with these problems I had, which you can see before you, didn't you see that? > > Can I be absolutly sure that they are unreasonable? No, I can´t. From there point of view I can´t know what is reasonable and not. Yes. Who am I when I think this thought? Arrogant, angry, I don´t listen because I´m buissy defending my self. *And aren't you demanding? Of them?* Yes, this I also realised doing the work on myself. Who would I be without that thought? Calm, not affraid, understanding, maybe laugh at myself because I would remember that I`m also a parent and have acted the same. *And maybe less demanding? Isn't that what you want these parents to be?* No I want the parents to stay the way they are until they don't. So: Parent's should be less demanding on teachers. I am angry at these parents. People should not have unreasonable demands of others. *Turn them around. And can you really know it is anger you are feeling?* Yes. 2.Parents should understand that teachers are only human, do their best and make mistakes. Is it true? No, parents are also humans, they don´t always understand. *And Can you really know they don't understand? Whose buisness is their understanding?* Yes I can really know that people do not understand everything all the time. As long as I make their understanding my buisness it is my buisness. Who am I when I think that thought? Unreasonable(!) and demanding, all the things I think of them. Hmm, I didn´t know that until now. *Very good.* What do you mean? What is good? Who would I be without that thought? Less stressed I think, definitly more openminded. *I hear that.* *So with the thought: demanding. Without it: openminden.* *What has it to do with " them " ?* Nothing The turnaround: I should understand that parents are only human, do their best and make mistakes. Yes, that thought feels good. I feel kind to myself as a parent as well as to other parents. I should understand that I`m only human, do my best and make mistakes. Yes, definitly. Parents shouldn´t understand teachers. Probably not. It´s not their job to understand me, it´s my job. *Very good. This sounds so sweet. Isn't that more the way you want to be?* I do not know, maybe, I'll just have to try it and see. This feels nice.Thank you nne for sharing and for giving me the opportunity to work on my problems! *lol* turn it around! Turn what around? Why? Guest guest
Dear , > No it isn't true Olli that I'm angry becuase of their demands, I was > angry because of my thoughts about their demands, and I know this > know since I made the work very clearly on myself with these > problems I had, which you can see before you, didn't you see that? Didn't you see that? > So: > Parent's should be less demanding on teachers. > I am angry at these parents. > People should not have unreasonable demands of others. > > *Turn them around. Whose buisness is > their understanding?* > > Yes I can really know that people do not understand everything all > the time. As long as I make their understanding my buisness it is my > buisness. I hear that. It's your buisness what your make. And whose buisness is their understanding? There is no such thing as " all the time " . The present moment is all there is. Now. and then it's over. And then there is another one. It repeats itself on and on. So, you may recall a specific occasion in wich parents seemed not to be understanding. Can you absolutely know that they did not understand in that specific moment? > Who am I when I think that thought? Unreasonable(!) and demanding, > all the things I think of them. Hmm, I didn´t know that until now. > > *Very good.* > > What do you mean? What is good? what you realized.
