Guest guest
Absolutely Kishor but I am in line too...My take on this is simple Work which includes a balance of work at home and place of profession sincerely done, with passion, compassion and empathy has to give you fruits both spiritually and financially....and if it then gives you the opportunity to enjoy the toys of modern life without hampering your planning for your future...retirement sic! children...in the form of material things like property etc or saving for their education... then one must do it and enjoy it! We are an evolving creation and I am sure our parents grandparents must have seemed more simple in their living to our parents and less stressed but one cannot ignore the evolving world around oneself . If I may give my interpretation of Swami Prabhupads interpretation of the verse 57 of the GITA in Chapter 2...steady wisdom or perfect knowledge is when In the material world one is unaffected by whatever good or evil he may obtain, neither praising it nor despising it.Finally verse 60 of chapter 2 of the Gita also deals with the fact that it is absolutely futile to expect us humans to not get enamoured by the senses that are very strong and impetuous. And therefore my dear friends we should be the karm yogis... enjoy what we have without attachment...I love my MB S550 and my summer home on the Golfcourse and Ski resort in Flagstaff .. I think I can afford it after fulfilling my duties as a son, spouse , father and I am enjoying it to the hilt ...till we can attain that level of the dhyan yogis where we are ready to renounce everything I will not fight it too much and not lose any sleep on it....!!
