Guest guest Posted July 4, 2003 Report Share Posted July 4, 2003 Abby's tantrums were very bad this week, she has a upper respitory infection and ear infection.I find that she gets VERY VERY mean right before she gets sick. Have I mentioned how mean she gets? LOL. The weather really plays havic on her moods. Abby doesnt do well in heat, but then again I dont either. Actually she is best on stormy rainy days. I to worry when she has a bad day, I see it first as regression, then I have to remind myself that I and everyone just has bad days and just dont want to be bothered. Guest guest Posted July 4, 2003 Report Share Posted July 4, 2003 Pennie Hope Abby is feeling better soon. Did they put her on any anti biotics? Skylar gets really touchy too when she is getting sick. I kind of chuckled to myself when I read in your post that you first worry about regression and then you remind yourself that everyone has bad days. I do exactly the same thing as well. When Sky has a bad day I always worry she is regressing, then I calm down and remind myself that we all have our days. That is one of the many things I love about being on this list. We can share information back and forth and we can all see that we all go through pretty much the same thing and have the same concerns. This group has been so helpful to me! I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found it. I know the first time we actually got to do something as a " family " was very emotional for me too. Until then it was always a major undertaking to take her anywhere or we would have to leave her at home with Grandma and just take Coral. I hated doing that because we have two daughters not one. For example its OK if they kill and cut up the chickens on site but he is contesting there doing the same to the snakes his brothers and sisters LOL. Then he reaches over to them and kisses them boy where his mouth has been dont know what the snake could catch. Anyway he said in his australlian accent got to educate these locals as these animasl are special individuals and do not deserve this kind of treatment. I thought OK.
