Guest guest
Hi, was exposed to chicken pox by her father - who got them from work somehow. Even though she was exposed later than the 72 hrs (I think because he would have been contagious before breaking out) I had them give VZIG. She did get the chicken pox but it was a relatively mild case - I think because of the VZIG. My husband was really very ill, had encephalitis, pox everywhere - ears, nose, eyes, throat. But worst place on Eliz was the soles of her feet. Other than that she did very well and got over it in a normal period. We will keep you in our prayers... Take care... Guest guest
- It is going to be a long 21 days for you guys. My prayers are with you all. 's hem/onc doesn't want in school if there is an out break. But really hasn't said anything about her getting them. What is VZIG? With her low anc I would be nersous about the secondary infection from them. ===== and (congential neutropenia, hypogammaglobulinemia, chronic sinusitis and leukopenia) mom to Evan 6, 4 and Abby Rose
