Guest guest
from Dale, Mom to Katy, age 15, CVID Sandy, the real question is " did he have fun? " I agree with that it was the doctor's mistake, not yours. Some things stick -- some do not. used to have special ear plugs (custome made) to protect his tubes. We were in Nashville for a rare vacation with cousins and while enjoying something called the wave pool, managed to lose one of his plug. I had to call the shots -- do I make this kid get out and not swim after traveling 2000 miles to spend time with his cousins? I chose to let him enjoy the swim. He had a humongous infection afterward -- but 10 years later he doesn't remember the infection -- he remembers the wave pool! Yeah, our kids our fragile, but they are kids. Right now you need to concentrate on that blood report and let the infections come or go. I don't know what ANC's are. I'm sure the doctor will get back to you if it's something urgent. I hate waiting, don't you. Adam needs to know that it's okay. He's probably going to feel as guilty as you do for letting them come off. Kids get crazy ideas -- but then so do we!!!! Hang in there. I'm praying right now for that doctor's call. Autumn, What's the report on Mark? Heard anything yet? How's he feeling? Katy's drooping again with the heat. Does everybody have trouble with that? She just wilts. In His service, Dale
