Guest guest
Hello Fred Your body will be come used to taking Dilaudid or any narcotic for that matter. If you had to stop taking it you would need to do it carefully. Does that make you addicted? No, it doesn't. There are many, many medications that our bodies become used to such as: antidepressants (Prozac, Elavil), antipsychotics (Seroquel, Thorazine), antianxiety (Valium,Xanax), steroids, (Prednisone), anticonvulsants (Neurontin, Tegretol) that must be tapered off very carefully when discontinued. I have heard good things about pain pumps. You end up taking a smaller amount of the drug and usually have better pain control. Some of the drugs used in pain pumps are Baclofen and Morphine. There is also a spinal stimulator that does not use any drugs. It is called a Medtronic Pump. You can read all about it online. Kaylene do you know if you get dependent on diludid? i guess is it as >bad as oxycontin if you stop? _________________________________________________________________ Discover the best of the best at MSN Luxury Living. http://lexus.msn.com/
