I think the one thing everyone here agrees with is Sharons opinion of

Krispy Kremes......I know few people who can eat one without gas and

bloating and nasty BM's the next day! (But does that stop us from

trying them again and again?????)

I am curious to read what foods others can and can't eat!

We are all so different, that it is hard to make hard and fast rules!

I can eat just about ANYTHING!!

but....chicken. go figure? I hurt in my stomach like I ate a ROCK if I eat

any kind of chicken cooked in ANY way. what the heck? I love chicken

damit!!

I cant eat oreo cookies. I get the runs...runs...runs...runs.... so I

dont eat them.

I CAN EAT KRISPY KREMES!!! but why? I can actually eat more than

one....but have no reason to. No reaction at all to them. weird.

I avoid white breads and yeasty stuff (like pizza dough) due to gas (stinky

stinky!!). But I can eat sourdough and most wheat breads without a problem.

I drink most juices...except orange. too acid. upsets my stomach

terribly...but that happened before surgery anyway.

I can not drink milk. I used to drink it by the gallon practically....but

now I dare not...due to getting a tummy ache and runs. I can eat tons of

cheese, yogurt (yuck), and other dairy stuff...but not straight milk.

I can overeat easily....and get a tummy ache. I have learned to curb the

overeating and the 'speed' eating...most of the time.

I am an emotional eater and eat whenever I need to. I eat whatever my

little heart and emotions desire. I eat whatever I seem to be craving.

Feels damn good! LOL!! I dont eat as much as I used to...nor do I NEED to

eat like I used to. But it is nice to know I will not gain 25 pounds just

because I feel the need to eat something 'bad' for me.

I sure love this surgery! I can be NORMAL!!! (or at least close to it?)

Jeanne,

I truly believe that if I had done what I was suppose to have done,

by not eating all the wrong things I would have lost more..I can

not stay away from sugar..lol sorry it ain't gonna happen...

Try to fill up on what you really need before you go to the sugar..

Do as I say, not as I do...lol

You will do great!!!!

God bless,

Pat

Jeanne, that sugar monkey is ubiquitous. A lot of people have him

on their back. I am a " success " and he was on my back. Dunno, not

an expert, but I ruined my teeth and lost anyway. The candy must

have stopped me from eating other stuff. Like chips.
