Guest guest
It appears the SB 28, BX, AND Pitbull have no inside flanges on the inside plastic tubes. Does this cause issues while doing exercises on the inside tubes? My X5 has these flanges, and I position my hands against them on inner tube exercises. I am really interested in the SB 28,but am concerned about this potential issue. Brawn

I think the flanges will only be significant if one's grip is not strong enough for an exercise. I have a relatively strong grip brought about by escrima, hand grips, and pullup training. I could apply full force to any exercise using the inside tubes without my grip slipping. Thus, I do not need the flanges. However, not everyone may start with strong grips. For them, the flanges may be of help so that they can apply full force with an exercise without their grip slipping. If such is the case, they should also work on their grip strength. Twisting on the cables or straps can be a way to develop grip strength as I described in a previous post on developing our own BW exercises.
