Guest guest
Many people have turned to Canada or Mexico for their Rx purchases as way lowered prices. Others, if old enough, have gotten theirs through AARP (American Association For Retired Persons). They have a website & magazines/newsletters too that advertize & show places to get discount Rx drugs. There are many other sources, including buying Rx discount memberships or low cost Rx drug insurance. AARP has those & other agencies do too for diabled persons who aren't retirement age. I don't have all those sources here in front of me but they're easily obtained on the Internet using one's search engine. I could get my AARP info about some of these if she's eligible for being a retired person. Let me know if you or she wants it. Guest guest
Janine, Try calling the drug manufacturer. They sometimes have patient assistance programs in which she can apply for. Perhaps they even have coupons! Who knows, but that is my recommendation for a starting point. They perhaps can direct her in the right area. Also, have her check with the MD for free samples of the product. Manufacturers always provide those, but if she explains to the doc her situation, he/she may be able to help her out by getting samples from the manufacturer. Good Luck!
