For example: Last week was upper body for me on MON & FRI. Well, when Friday rolled around, my chest was still a little bit sore. I still went but concentrated on all other upper body exercises and laid off the chest. What is everyones opinion on this? My thinking is if the muscle is still rebuilding why tear it down again? This doesn't normally happen to me but last week was WK #1 for me and I worked out harder than I normally use to.
