Guest guest
Hi everyone! First, I'd like to send a Happy Birthday to Kinsey! May there always be laughter in your life, love in your heart, and luck in your path! Second, Happy Mother's Day to all of you! Just to share a cute moment with all of you...my two children are 5 years apart (by one week). Mackenzie was born on September 30, and we celebrated 's 5th birthday the following Tuesday, October 7th. Having just gotten home from the hospital 2 days before (we had to stay due to infection), I sat at his party, not sure if I wanted to cry or go to sleep. In the middle of opening his presents, he looked over at me and announced, " Happy Mother's Day Mommy. If we weren't borned on these days, you wouldn't be a Mommy! " And with that...I broke into to tears of joy! and I went to the Dr's yesterday. He thinks it might be a Lactose Intolerance. I'm not sure of this. is a child who has 3-5 glasses of milk a day, and loves cheese. How would this all of a sudden effect him in the last 3 weeks, after 6 years of having all dairy products? So, we are trying a dairy free week, which is going to be very hard!! As I mentioned, loves milk and cheese, especially ice cream! At the end of the week, we are to give him a milkshake, and other dairy products and see how his system reacts. We'll see how it goes! Has anyone out there heard of Lactose Intolerance being diagnosed so late in his life? I've heard of infants being Lactose Intolerant, but never children, after the fact that they've had milk all their life. Take Care Everyone!
