Guest guest
, Avicell is cellulose, which sounds like you are extremely allergic to -- my pharmacist told me it is ground up tree bark, and if you are allergic to that tree (say cedar or cottonwood), then you will be allergic to its cellulose also. I don't know what kind Avicell is made out of. I got one batch of that and threw a fit! I can''t take it either. I ask them to compound mine with rice flour. This time, I am asking for no fillers, to see how that works. Also, if you are allergic to pork, stay away from Armour, Nature-throid, Westhroid, or any of the natural desiccated porcine products, even Thyroid USP. You will have to go synthetic with Synthroid and Cytomel, but be sure to get them to write for the Name Brands. Trouble with generics with these. I wouldn't fool with porcine any more. Hope this helps, you have had quite a time finding a medicine to take. Sending good thoughts your way, Vicki
