Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group.I've had three flare-ups of what was just recently diagnosed as erythema nodosum, though I suspected that's what it was since the first episode. Two of the flare-ups occurred a couple of weeks after I experienced a high fever, chills, etc (which turned out to be strep throat in the second case, I don't know if it was an infection or a virus the first time). The other flare-up was probably due to the first one not being totally done, and experiencing stress. I get extreme arthralgia along with the e. nodosum, and am wondering if others experience that. By joining the group, I'm hoping to learn what others do to prevent flare-ups, as my rheumatologist has been less than helpful in this regard.6. List any other health conditions.Mild asthma.7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness:I took prednisone and antibiotics the first time (they thought I had Lyme), plus hydrocodone and naproxen for the pain.
